​Dr. Jones is a native of Kinsley, Kansas, a graduate of Kansas State University and the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Dr. Jones completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and her Infectious Disease Fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. Dr. Jones is Board Certified in Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine.

She practiced in Lincoln, Nebraska for ten years and also served as Medical Director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee for Bryan Health. She currently serves as Medical Director of Antimicrobial Stewardship for Wesley Medical Center. Dr. Jones joined IDC in September 2015.
